In 2002 United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) recognised the efforts of Hududullah Micro Credit Company in credit support to the small entrepreneurs in Adamawa and Taraba States. The company was accordingly appointed by the UNDP in Nigeria to administer its Micro-credit scheme under the job creation and Sustainable Livelihood Programme in the two States.
The Rural Empowerment Acceleration Programme (REAP) designed by Her Excellency, the wife of former Adamawa State Governor targeting women entrepreneurs and women groups only. The average loan size under this scheme was N15, 000.00. Hududullah was engaged by REAP to administer the scheme.
The company was engaged in training beneficiaries on loan utilization and savings in both programmes.
In the last 8 years from 2006 the Company has had three Collaboration Programmes with the Bank of Agriculture. The Collaborations covered six states namely Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe, Kaduna, Katsina and Zamfara. The first two schemes covered 5000 beneficiaries in the six States while the third was 7500 beneficiaries.
